I am researching STARR, GREEN, YEAGLE and I think RHODES. I am trying to get death certificates and birth for family members. I just got my father's birth certificate. Glenn A. Starr born 27 Aug 1924 Lycoming County. His father was Clyde STARR age 40 born Hillsgrove, Pa and mother Emily M YEAGLE age 38 born Strawbridge, Pa. Clyde mother I have as Maria Jane Green b. 20 Aug 1847 died 8 Oct 1922. Clyde's father was William Ellis Starr b21 Dec 1843 d 4 Sept 1905. i have sent for birth and death certificates to Pa Vital Records for Clyde, and also for Maria Jane Green. I got back for Maria a no record certification. what ever that means. So I am lost. What bothers me is that Vital records is telling me to go to the Court house in the county and I did that and they sent it back saying they didn't keep records. So where are the records. Any help would be appreciated. Also I understant that rootslist is downish they expect to have it running a full speed by Wednesday. Happy Hunting All, Sandy
