Hi everyone I've recently found out that my grandfather was born in Williamsport in 1871, I'm now trying to find the marriage of his parents - John Reilly to Helen Maguire sometime prior to 1871. The only information I have is that the family were members of The Church of the Annunciation (which I understand was formed in 1871), and the baptism of my grandfather William Reilly was noted in their records. Prior to 1871 I'm given to understand that the catholic members of the 'Annunciation' were members of St. Boniface Church - which had been made up of mainly German parishioners. I feel sure that John Reilly would have been married in St. Boniface. I wonder if anyone out there could point me in the right direction as to how I might be able to find a marriage date? In addition does anyone know where the records for imigrants to PA from Ireland circa 1860/70 would be held, as my ggf emigrated from Ireland sometime during this period.
