    3. I am looking for information on Lewis SISLER and his descendants. Lewis emigrated from Germany and arrived in Boston in about 1775. He stayed in the Boston area briefly, making his way to Lancaster County, then Lycoming County, PA. Lewis died in about 1820. He was a teacher, Presbyterian and served in the War of 1812. His children were: George, Nicholas, Lewis, Houston, Betsey, and Mary. Lewis may have had two brothers - George and James - who moved on to Upper Canada about 1800. I have found a Huston and a Lewis SCISLOR in the 1820 Census in Muncy twp, Lycoming County. These would be Lewis's sons. The information on Lewis matches what I have for my Lewis Sisler (b 1788 Lycoming County, d 1851 Erie County, NY) who married Margaret MARSH in about 1812. Margaret was the daughter of a George MARSH. Lewis and Margaret had sons George (1814), Houston (1815), John (1817), William (1819), Thomas (1821), Adam (1823) and possibly Charles (1828) before moving to Aurora, Erie County, New York. Lewis, Margaret and all 7 sons show up in the 1830 census in Aurora, NY. Any information would be appreciated.
