Francine Conn Halter wrote about a Henry Conn of Lycoming County who married Elizabeth St Clair, born 1794. Does anyone have info on the siblings or parents of Elizabeth? In my database I have a Ruth Scott, born 23 May 1789, daughter of Joseph Scott of Lycoming County. Ruth married a St Clair (first name unknown) and had a daughter Susannah St Clair who married James Lamar Blackburn. In 1862, James and Susannah were living in Logansport, Cass Co IN. I'd like to know Ruth's husband's name and the names of his parents. Ruth's Scott's sister Susannah (1787-1826) was my ancestor. She married Samuel Pittenger. Samuel and Susannah's granddaughter, Sarah Pittenger, was my g-g-grandmother. On the back of a photo it says her name was Sarah Emma St Clair Pittenger. This seems odd since it would have been Sarah's grandmother's sister's married name that was St Clair. So I'm wondering if there was another connection between the Pittengers and St Clairs.
