Anyone out there working on the WORTHINGTON family who lived in Muncy Twp. in 1850? I am looking for any information on Samuel WORTHINGTON and his wife, Charity. Samuel died in the 1840s leaving a widow and several children. Some of them are shown with Charity in the 1850 census of Muncy Twp.; Charity is listed as being 52 years of age and born in Nova Scotia. Also listed were her children: George 20 PA (married within one year) Savilla 20 PA (married within one year) Robert 17 PA Barbara 15 PA Sarah 10 PA Savilla was the former Savilla FRY, new wife of George WORTHINGTON. In the 1870 census, George's family was found in Wolf Run, Muncy Twp: WORTHINGTON George 44 Savilla 37 Susan A. 14 Lidia J. 10 Amanda 8 Amos 6 John 3 Benjamin 1 In 1877, George and his wife and children left PA and migrated to Iowa.
