I still don't know who his parents were. I also wished I knew his middle name. There is some discrepancies on the year of his birth. I have seen it in print for both 1825 & 1826. I believe 1825 is correct. He was married twice. His first wife's name was Catherine WALIS. They were married on 1/11/1850 probably in Lycoming County. They had 4 children. Two survived him. I know the names of three of the four: Mrs. P. J. LACOMBRE nee Jennie HOOD nee Jennie WOLFE, Mary ZIMMERMAN nee Mary WOLFE, & Jerome. His second wife's name was Anna Mary CAMERON. They married 1/1/1861. They had 6 children: Amelia Bethada, William Henry, Samuel Sylvester, Torrence Monotte, Lemuel Edgar & Frederich Ervin. The first three children of this marriage were born in Lycoming, possibly Williamsport area. The last 3 were born in Jewel County, Kansas. Henry & Anna Mary, along with her parents & siblings moved from PA in 1870 & passed thru Freeport area, Stephenson County, Illinois on their way to Buffalo Twp., Jewell County, Kansas by 1871. Anna Mary's younger sister, Rebecca Christian CAMERON was married to a Daniel Sylvester WOLFE. I'm not sure what the relationship is, if any, between the two WOLFE men. Daniel was born 3/29/1840 in Lycoming Co., PA. I'd love to hear from any of you that might think they have Henry's parents names or anything they think might help me in my search.
