    1. Henry Conn m. Johanna Burt
    2. Questions: 1. Is the Henry Conn who married Johanna Burt the same as the Henry C-O-N-N who served in the American Revolution according to PA Archives 6th Series, Vol. II p. 485, as a member of Capt. Jacob Comfort's Co. 3rd Battalion in York Co. in 1782? 2. Is Johanna Burt the mother of Henry's children? Is BURT her maiden name or was she married before Henry? 3. Is Henry CONN related to the Nicholas KANN of York Co.? 4. Looking for information on Henry's children born in PA (see below) ========== The story goes...Henry Conn came to America with his father, mother and brother prior to 1780. Family legend says two Henry Conns fought in American Rev. were father and son. For York Co., Henry & Johanna moved to Buck's Co. and reared a family of seven children, at least six of which were traced as having matured and married while living in PA. Five of Henry's children and their families, exhibited an overpowering urge to improve their lot (a Conn characteristic) and emigrated to Indiana to wrest from the wilds of mother nature and the Indians, a homestead and a rich new life...They did not leave together as a group, but individually, arriving in Indiana between the years of 1833 and 1857.
