Hello, I am attempting to prove or disprove a link between my wife's DONNEL ancestry and the DONNELs in PA around 1800. My wife is a descendant of John Mabry DONNEL, b abt 1801 in TN (according to census records). He married Elizabeth JERNIGAN, Cir 1819 in TN. He later moved from TN to IL and had a large family. I am interested in any DONNEL connections in PA. Right now I know about a Charles G. DONNEL, b 14 Mar 1801 in Williamsport, PA. Does anyone have information on his parents/siblings. I've heard that Henry DONNEL, father of Charles G. DONNEL, had a brother, John DONNEL. I'm, obviously, interested in any DONNEL/MABRY marriages. Since that *may* be the source of John Mabry DONNEL's middle name.
