i worked at lyco college for a couple years in the registrars office. we still had records of students from when it was the seminary. letters of admission or acceptance, all kinds of non-grade-related correspondence and records along with the grades. our registrar destroyed everything but the grades. i tried to talk her into donating the rest of the records to the genealogical society here in wmspt, but she went on about confidentiality. being that those people have been dead over a century, i would think that the records would have been ok to donate. but it wasnt my decision, i "just worked there."
