I know this is not the PURPOSE of this list, but everyone always seems so helpful, I'm hoping SOMEONE could help me on this problem. I have all my records in the Roots3 program. I want to transfer them from Roots3 on my computer to my new program Family Tree Maker - ON MY Computer. Then do away with Roots3. Can I do this? I know I could send it via GEDCOM to someone else, but can I GEDCOM it to MYSELF, but a different program. I would sure appreciate it if anyone could answer this puzzler for me.
