    3. Good morning Patsy; It should be fairly easy to do. Generate a GEDCOM file from your info in Roots and save it to a different directory on your computer. Make a directory "Genealogy" that is not in the same directory that your Roots program is in, and save the GEDCOM file there. Then load your new program. Then you can COPY your GEDCOM file to FTM. Also, if you have any other info files that you want to save, move or copy them to the same Geno directory. Then after you are sure that FTM is working OK, the you can delete it.
