Kathy, My Millers were Cornelius Miller who was born in 1813 in Lycoming Co., don't know the twp. We have records that state that his father was Lawrence Miller with a wife Mary, no last name known. According to the births of his other children his son, my grandfather, David was born in NewCastle, Lawrence Co. Pa. in Dec. 10, 1846 and Davids older brother Hiram was supposedly born in Newcastle Oct. 15, 1842 so you see they must have left Lycoming County and began their treck west sometime before 1842. As I said Cornelius' father Lawrence was listed as being from Lycoming Co. and his father Jason Miller was only listed as being of English decent. I think there were two Cornelius Millers as we found some land records in Lycoming Co. that we do not think were our Cornelius but that is where it gets confusing. Cornelius Miller was married to Mary Motheral who was supposedly born in 1818 and that her father was George Motheral born in Ireland. If you can put anything together let me know. I will appreciate anything that you find. Marge
