Carol, Is Samuel Updegraft one of yours? The reason I ask is that he is two households away from my GGG Grandfather, John Fisher in the 1820 Mifflin Twp. Lycoming County Census (page 89). I've been meaning to ask you for a while. Julianne

Her maiden name? Any of his children's namesa/ Theis would help me determine which Samuel you mean. -- Carol Courter Updegraff PO Box 222 Glennallen, AK 99588-0222 cupdegraff@cvinternet.net

Hi Carol...I am sorry to report that all I know of him is from the 1820 census. 2 males under 10, 1 male 10-16, 1 male 26-45, 2 females under 10, 1 female 26-45. The area of Mifflin twp. at that time where I believe John Fisher was living was up along or near Pine Creek. I don't think it's Mifflin anymore. I was just curious if he was a relative of yours because the name doesn't seem that common. Is the Updegraff genealogy on line somewhere or published in a book? Are there any Fishers married into the family? Thanks, Julianne
