In 1790 the area that is now where Willamsport is was a part of Northumerland County! In 1810 it was a part of Wayne County! and in 1840 it became Lycoming County! During this entire transition the place know as Watsontown, PA was always in Northumberland County So if you are seeking information on someone listed a living in Watsontown, Pa I would check into Northumberland County History Sites also!
