Hello Hilma I have a load of loose ends on the Winners of PA, NY, NJ area. Do you happen to have names of siblings or descendants.... I might have a connection in my notes. Tom, You can probably call the Clerks office in Williamsport, tell them who you are l;ooking for and they will help. Another suggestion is to look in the James V. Brown Lib. website, go to their online card catalog and look. They keep obits listed for that time frame. Thank you for the lookup! This is Charles's son Charles Jr. I now need to know how I can determine an exact date of death, get a death certificate and an Obit if possible. I am not familiar with this area of PA so any suggestions as to how to get about doing these 3 things would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to find the burial location of Charles LeFever (LeFebvre or possibly LeFevre) who had his will made in May of 1863 and proved in early October 1863 in Montoursville, Fairfield Township, Lycoming Co., PA, so I assume that is where he died, but I don't have the information on where he is buried or the exact date of death. Is there anyone with the Lycoming Co. Cemeteries vol 2 that can check that source for me? Also where else might I try to find any biographical history on him? I am trying to find out what town in France he was born. Another researcher has a copy of his Probate file already. Would anyone have information of any ship sailing's from Ireland in 1783? My folks went to North Umberland area, so I have no idea of which port they may have landed. My William Buchanan, born in Donegal, Ireland, immigrated to the U. S. with his parents in 1783 and settled in North Umberland (Which became Lycoming County.) I believe William to be the father of my GGGrandfather, Robert M. Buchanan, b 1823 at Elimsport, Pa.. According to Deed Book 189, pg. 321, Robert's land abutted land of John Buchanan, so there were other Buchanan's in the area, although I can't find John in the census. Sure would appreciate any help you may give me. Thanks, Dick reroot@aol.com fax- 1-707-573-1163 707-576-7478

Dear Julianne: I printed the map. And thanks for thinking of us. Yours, Nanci Moffett Newcomb Wilmington DE
Thank you very much Blessings Rosealice
Thanks a lot, very hard to follow. Allthe names seem so similar to an out of state person.

Since there has been talk about township locations, I decided to scan and post on the web a great map that I got on my recent trip to the Lycoming County Recorder's office. It was hanging on the wall in the basement with all the property books and I asked for a copy and the guy down there took it off of the wall and made me a copy. It is not very fancy, but very handy. It shows the townships in Lycoming County with the dates of creation and the township from which they came. Here's the link to the map: http://www.vcnet.com/jfishell/LYCOMINGtwps.jpg Julianne
