Watson Twp. , however, was and is a part of Lycoming County, northwest of Williamsport along Pine Creek. If your record refers to that location, then here is some more information: An 1892 map of the county: http://www.usgennet.org/usa/pa/county/lycoming/history/map2.jpg To track your ancestor , you might have someone check the Williamsport City Directories for them year-by-year at the J.V. Brown Library: http://www.jvbrown.edu . You can see when Lycoming Co. townships were founded here: http://www.usgennet.org/usa/pa/county/lycoming/township.html . Now I am attempting to subscribe again, and evidently have the wrong address as it keeps coming back to me telling me there is no such address (ENG-WESTMORLAND-L-request@ rootsweb.com). Thanks.
