    1. GRANGE, VOUGH, WINDER, HAMILTON
    2. Barbara Ziek
    3. Re: Roll call I'm looking for information on the following families: John GRANGE married Jane MIDGLEY in Yorkshire England. They emigrated to the US in 1818 and settled in Forksville, PA. Their son, John W. GRANGE, married Eliza VOUGH in Eldredsville, Sullivan County, PA on October 30, 1851. She was born in Montoursville, PA, in 1833, daughter of John VOUGH and Hannah WINDER. I know nothing more of John Vough's family. (John Vough died young and Eliza married a second time to Geoffrey CLARK.) Eliza's obituary indicated that she had a grandfather named David HAMILTON who fought in the Revolutionary War in an outfit called the Rangers on the Frontier. There is apparently a David HAMILTON, Revolutionary War veteran, buried at Crossroads Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Montoursville, PA. I don't know if this is my David Hamilton or not. The obituary also said her other grandfather was a John WINDER(S) who belonged to the German Regiment and died during the war. It also said that the family name of WARREN was connected to the WINDERS. It went on to say that John Winders had a son, Warren Winder, who also served in the Revolution and was wounded. According to notes left by a family member, Hannah WINDER had very long, straight black hair and recalled that there was Cherokee blood in the family. I have only these tantalizing tidbits about this part of my family...no real proof of anything. Is there anyone out there who shares these lines? Barbara Ziek

    3. Greetings, I'm researching FEGLEY/FAGLEY, etc. in Lycoming Co. You mentioned FIEGELS, which is sometimes a variation of FEGLEY or vice versa. My ancestors in Lycoming County were Charles Fegley b. abt. 1798 m. Susanna Ruth, their child Benjamin Fegley b. abt. 1840 m. Anna Marsh, and their child John W. Fegley b. 1867. 1. Famous? bank robbers
    2. Deborah Harriman
    3. Mary, That would probably be there BARBER brothers. They are buried in the Dunham Grove Cemetery with their father. As for famous, well, they are as close to famous as we have. They were captured and hung in Waverly, and then brought back here by their father for burial. Among much controversy at the time. There are several articles about them in print. Fayette County Genealogy in West Union may be able to help out more with some of that. To Pat, As to regards of bank records, I don't think you will find them. Banking records are not public records to my knowledge. At least I have not heard of such in this area. You can get a history of the banks in Oelwein, but I don't think you will get someone's banking record, if that is what you are searching for. Deborah Harriman Fayette Co, Ia

Their web site is sometimes slow and I don't have the exact link that you need to do this, so just poke around and you should find it. http://www.jvbrown.edu/ Good Luck, Kevin L. 2. Seeking info/spouse/children/antecedents on above. Born near Boston 1768, lived in Lycoming Co. in 1820s, moved to Warren Co. NJ before 1830. Listed in census there for 1830 & 1840. There is a SB listed in 1820 Lycoming Co. census but appears too young - may be same as SB listed in Union Co. in 1830 census. Are there 2 SBs? Are they related? Bill Bradford [email protected]
