Yesterday I received copies in the mail of the above record. Included with this was a copy of his Declaration of Intent filed in Carbondale. It sates Robert was born on or about <blank> in 1843 and thst he emigrated in August of 1845. At the bottom of this record is a statement signed by the Clerk for Carbondale that "the above is a true copy of a Declaration filed in the Mayor's Court for the city of Carbondale", signed and dated 6 Oct 1860. This does not appear to be my Robert. However, in attempting to locate this Robert, I have been usuccessful in locating him in Census records for 1850 or 1860 in Luzerne.
