Shelley My paternal grandmother was Stella May Phillips. Her parents were Aaron & Eliza Rollins Phillips. Stella married my grandfather, Phillip Huff Earl. One of their children was John Earl, who died at 3 years of age. My father was Clyde Earl. Phillips in Newton Township, PA - Luzerne Cty. Phillips is listed as a mason. His family was: Harriet (wife) daughter Phebe Celisia Anna Sophia Ella Hulda The census is not very ledgeable so the spelling of the names could be incorrect. I found George Phillips in the 1860 census in Ransom Township, age 37 a farmer, and his family was as follows: Catherine (wife) 31 Francis 14 Angeline 11 Helen 9 George 4 Decantor 2 The farm lot location number was 1147-1966 Looking for either one of these Phillips families!
