Luzerne Co. marriage registration are on microfilm and available via LDS's Family History Center covering from the start of registrations in Oct 1885 through 1909. The registrations are simplified versions of the questionare usually filed out and usually include only the name, date of birth, and city of residence of the contracting parties along with the date and name of the official performing the ceremony. All of these records are now viewable in book form at the Luzerne County Courthouse annex. The office is located on the first floor of the building situated on the NW corner of Pennsylvania and E. Northampton St. across from the Genetti Hotel. WIlls and estates are also available in the same office. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Daniel Cotton" <danieltcotton@sbcglobal.net> To: <PALUZERN@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, April 12, 2007 8:15 AM Subject: [PALUZERN] Luzerne County Marriage Records : The last time I reviewed Luzerne County marriage records they were located in the basement of the courthouse.
