Freeman Longtime Bookkeeper, 80 Dorothy J. Freeman (nee Reese) died on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, in Morristown Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was 80. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 7, at 10 a.m. in the Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ 07834. (Normandean.com). Friends and relatives may visit on Friday, April 6, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Born in Wilkes Barre, Pa, Dorothy lived in the Rainbow Lakes section of Parsippany for over 57 years. She was a bookkeeper for the Hearthstone Lodge for many years. She was also a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Rainbow Lakes Fire Department. Her loving family was her life. Dorothy’s husband of 50 years, Walter H., and brother-in-law, Wayne Austin, predeceased her. Surviving are her loving children, Jim Freeman and his wife, Beth, of Mount Arlington, Dottie and her husband, Mark Barron, of Parsippany and Donna and her husband, Bernie DeCristofuro of Mount Olive; grandchildren, Michelle, Cheri, Allison, Sandra, Billy, Nick and small person, Sara. Also surviving are her sisters, Edna Austin, and Elizabeth and her husband, Ed Bookman, and many nieces and nephews.
