My Grandmother was Alice Barrett born abt 1894 at Jerymn Pa parents unk. Alice was married to Thomas Carminita or spelled Caminita/Cometa from Sicly. They are on the Jan.1920 census for NYC in Brooklyn. My Grandfather Thomas Carminita/Cominita/Carminto died Feb 1920. My Grandmother came to Dunmore Pa in March and stayed at the St. Joseph's Foundling Home with her three children Rose 5, John 3 and Helen 1, during her stay John and Helen died of the meales they are buried at the Catherial Cem. in Scranton. My Grandmother left the St. Joseph's Foundling Home in July with my father Thomas Carminita born May 23, 1920. She gave my father to Helena Masters Swift who adopted him, I do not know what happended to the 5 yr old and my Grandmothter when they left. Any help or suggestions would be great.
