Hi Marilyn, In your search for Ruggles have you run across a Sarah C. Ruggles b.1821 VT, married 1st Amos Maynard and had Stanley Maynard b. Nov 1842 d. 1929, 2nd William H. Wilsey, he son of a William & Catherine (Maynard) Wilsey, she b. 1802 VT dau. of Shubal Maynard. Also a Mary/Polly Ruggles b. MA 1784, 2nd wife of above Shubal Maynard, she said to be dau of a Benjamin & Elizabeth Ruggles. They were in Bradford County, PA and moved to Iowa mid 1800's.
