The Michael Shoemaker book mentions that in June of 1802, the heirs of a Jonathan Hascall gave a power of attorney to Isaac Baldwin. This would sound like he might be a lawyer. One of the heirs was Jonathan's dgt, Alice or Elsie who was married to Isaac Baldwin. This was in Tioga County. Just a thought. Eleanore
