    3. Ed McClelland posted the link to the 1873 maps of Luzerne county and townships therein. Thank you, thank you. Is this a crack in my brick wall???? I noticed that a Mrs. Boyle is listed in 1873 as owning the property on Wyoming Street directly across the street from the R.C. Church (which I assume is St. Gabriel's). In the 1886-1888 Boyd's city directories my William J. Boyle is listed as living at 125 S. Wyoming and in the 1900 census he's listed at 127 S Wyoming. I've always thought both addresses were across the street from St. Gabriels. Could this Mrs. Boyle in 1873 be my William's mother?? Other than writing St. Gabriels and asking for any Mrs. Boyle's who died between 1873-1886, does anyone have any ideas about how to pursue this? With records that still exist, of course. 1 William J.
