Looking for the SNYDER and STAIR family in Luzerne County area. My gr.gr.grandmother Sarah Snyder (b. 1839 d. 1896) married Stephen BALLIET. We are told she later married a person with the last name of STAIR. We have found a Sarah Snyder in the 1850 census with the parents Conrad and Sylvia Snyder, but we are not certain this our Sarah. We would appreciate any information anyone may possibly be able to share. Thank you.
