He had been ill of typhoid fever when pneumonia set in resulting in his death. MARTIN, another son of Mr SCHMIDT, has also been very ill with the fever, but is now recovering. The deceased is a nephew of OTTO J SCHMIDT, who died last fall of typhoid fever.
