Wilkes-Barre Evening Leader, Fri, Mar 7, 1890 MARRIAGE LICENSE GRANTED: IRVIN MOYER, White Haven ANNIE METZGAR, White Haven DEATHS: SAMUEL M FIELD, age 61, for many years train dispatcher on the L V R R, and whose office was in Pittston Junction, died at his home in West Pittston on Wednesday evening. He is survived by a widow, three sons and four daughters: Mrs F C MOSIER, Mrs R B CUTTER, Mrs C M KING, and Miss BELLE FIELD. Deceased was a member of the M E Church for many years and was a respected citizen. Funeral services will be held at the residence this evening. (note: surname is spelled FIELD in one place, and FIELDS in another) ANNA, wife of the well known printer, EUGENE GABRIEL, who has been ill with consumption for some time past, succumbed to the dread disease last evening at sunset. Her death was painless and peaceful. She was 25 years of age and was married 3 years ago. One child, a bright boy, is left in the care of the father, who has the sympathy of the community in his sad hour of bereavement. Deceased was the daughter of NICHOLAS KLEIN, of South Street. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 4 oclock, from the St Nicholas German Catholic Church. Interment in the Catholic Cemetery.
