He will be buried with requiem mass at St Vincent’s Church at 10 o’clock tomorrow. A wife and one child survive him. Supt. GEORGE SCOTT, of the Lehigh & Wilkes-Barre Coal Co, is sadly afflicted with the death of his son, WILL, which occurred yesterday morning about half past four. The young man had suffered several days from a puzzling complication of ailments, and the exact nature of the malady cannot be determined except by autopsy. Mr SCOTT is just recovering from a serious illness of pneumonia, and Mr SCOTT is further afflicted in the serious illness of his mother in Glen Carbon. The funeral of the deceased will be held at the residence at 42 Grove Street tomorrow morning at 7:30. At 9 o’ clock the remains will be taken to Shenandoah, where interment will be made. The two Wilkes-Barre engines will be taken away and the water in the shaft is in the neighborhood of 400 feet high.
