Hello all, I am new to this list. I am researching the Moore family from Wales. My ggg-grand mother Martha Moore was born in Pontypoole, Monmothshire, Wales on December 10, 1857. I believe she was the youngest child of Charles Moore and Ann Morris. She came to the United States at an early age. She married William Waugh in 1874 in Luzerne County. He died in a mine accident in 1885 in Luzerne County. Martha and William had three children, Joshua, Richard, and Joanna. After the death of William Waugh , Martha married Amza Spencer in South Dakota. I do not know why she went to South Dakota after the death of William. Martha died in 1920 and is buried in Marshfield, Missouri. I see there is a Moore family from Wales in Luzerne County and hope I can find a connection. Thank you for any help.
