Hello! I am looking for information regarding my great grandfather, William Rhoades. He was born in Centralia, PA in 1885 and grew up in Shamokin, PA. He married Jennie Brobst in Bloomsburg, PA in 1907. Some of their children's names were Lawrence, Adeline, Mary, Robert, Effie, Ruth, John, and Jimmy. William moved to Wilkes-Barre in 1942. He worked as a chef at the Sayler's Cafe until he retired. He died in Wilkes-Barre. The service was at Christ Lutheran Church. The funeral home was Kniffen Funeral Home. I have talked to the funeral home and discovered that his information was probably lost in a flood. I believe he died in the 1950s. I would appreciate any help finding information on my family.
