Ella Mae FAUX b. 1871 in W. Nanticoke, Luzerne Co., Pa d. 03 NOV 1954 Fairfield, Fairfield Co., CT 2nd Husband CT death records on Ancestry.com say his name was Miles Her newspaper obituary says his name was Charles sooo... (By the way, all facts say Miles/Charles never left Penna., as close as we can tell) His name was both, Miles Charles or Charles Miles COVERT Or the death record or the obituary made a "typo." Her 2nd husband was called "Uncle Myles" by his niece and great niece... So I can "safely" conclude that Charles could have been either his given or middle name and he happened to go by the name of Miles... Miles/Charles and Ella Mae COVERT lived on Summerhill Rd, Foundryville, Pa. Their house is supposedly located, on the right side and same side of the road as the small church that's there. But the house is apparently much further up the road as you go up the hill. That is, if the house still exists. I was there, but didn't drive further up the hill because according to someone's memory, it was located at the foot of the hill. I thot the house was the one next door to the church (and up for sale) but later learned the COVERTS did not live aside the church. Unfortunately I didn't take a few extra minutes to drive along a bit further to double check...big mistake- But is anyone else researching COVERTS in this particular location? Or anyone recognize the name Miles-Charles or Charles-Miles COVERT? Every time I get one step ahead with these 2 people, it takes me 2 steps backwards. I mentioned before (earlier email) that Ella's 1st hubby was a Harry KLINE. His name could have been, David Harrison Kline since he has a son with that name. His 1st son was named after his grandfather and so I am guessing his 2nd son was named after him. Another mistake I am making, because, Ella had a brother, David Harrison, soooo this also means she most likely named her son after him.... Ackkk LOL There's got to be someone out there who this stuff rings a bell with !~!~! Good news is, my sister found a postcard written to our grandfather from his brother in 1919. This now gives us a specific time and location (with st. number and street) for our grandfather and a specific time and location for his brother. Only problem is I can't ask here for a city directory lookup for that year cause it's out of the Luzerne co. My 2 steps back again :-) Just hoping my meandering thots might make some sense to someone else on the list. Thyme
