Both parents were apparently satisfied as there was both a boy and a girl DEATHS: Last evening about 10 o'clock JAMES MCMANUS, of New Market street, was struck by an L V passenger train at Duck Pond and he died in fifteen minutes. He was on his way to Miner's Mills to see his mother. Deceased leaves several children. He was about 45 years old and was a brother of PETER MCMANUS. The funeral will take place on Thursday at 2 pm, from the residence of his brother TEDDY, on Market street The death of CHAS. S VORSE, a relative of the SEARLES family of Wyoming Valley, recently occurred at Des Moines, Iowa. Mrs JAMES COURTRIGHT, Mrs J D GREEN of Wyoming, and Mrs Rev J K PECK of Askam, are near relatives. Mrs UREE B GIBSON, of New Britain, died at the residence of her son, Dr GIBSON, of this city this morning. She was 73 years old and her ailment was cerebral meningitis CONRAD RUSS, of Harrison street, died yesterday, aged 80 years. Deceased was born in Bavaria. He leaves a family of adult children, the eldest of whom, GEORGE RUSS, is running as citizens' candidate for councilman from the 13th ward.
