I have a SSN for someone, but when I try to track them down through the SSDI, nothing shows up. I've tried using just the number and using the soundex.What am I doing wrong? The number was given to me by the social security office when I requested a copy of a SS5 for a woman. They sent the copy, plus gave me the husbands number she had a claim under. Why can't I find the husband in the SSDI? I have this problem with 2 different people. Thanks, Donna
