SCHAPPERT, 70, of Jacksonville passed away Monday. A native of Wilkes Barre, Luzerne Co, PA, he came here 27 years ago, was a sales associate with Sears at the Avenues Mall and a member of St Joseph's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Millicent, 3 sons: Gareth Schappert of Jacksonville, Donald Schappert Jr of Southlake, TX, Kenneth Schappert of Colorado Springs, CO., 2 daughters: Suzanne Milliser of Kings Bay, GA, Marilyn Schappert of Ft Lauderdale, FL, 3 brothers, Emil Schappert of Bear Creek, PA, Leo Schappert of Ft Lauderdale, FL, Edward Schappert of Endicott, NY, 1 sister, Teresa Murphy of Wilkes Barre, PA and 8 grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be held 11:30 AM today (Thursday) in St Joseph's Catholic Church (middle church) with Rev. Daniel Cody as celebrant.
