Several years ago Luzerne County courthouse had marriage records beginning 1885. Possibly that has changed, but I doubt it. Scranton is in Lackawanna County. If you know the religion, you might have better luck looking for a church entry for your period of time. Maybe someone in the Scranton area has a better idea or more current information.
