I have been trying to find a Shomaker St, in W Wyoming This address is written on the back of an old photograph of twins, James and John Myers. James Myers b. 1878 d. 1907 (cause: railroad accident, lost a leg.) So that's the only time frame that they could have lived there, if they did at all. For all I know, someone used the back of the photograph to jot down an address while they were on the phone and it was the handiest thing to write it on. Can anyone tell me atleast if they was a Shomaker St in Wyoming, W. Wyoming or Wilkes-Barre, Pa.? Thanx :-) Thyme
There is a Shoemaker St, for sure, but it's exact location escapes me. It is either in W. Wyoming, Swoyersville or Kingston, at least in that general area, maybe possibly Forty Fort. There is a Shoemaker AVENUE in West Wyoming. You can reach it from Route 11 by turning at 8th Street in Wyoming, going to the light and turning left onto Shoemaker. It runs from there into the town of Swoyersville which has a Shoemaker STREET.
