Hello! Perhaps someone could help me learn more about Joze (aka Joseph) Rogers who was b. abt 11 sep 1778 in plymouth twp. d. about 1860. He married 2 or 3 times had 12 children. Would really like to find name of his first wife. Second wife was Hannah Lamoreaux; they married 1812. (according to M. Shoemaker Book) 2 Children by first wife: possibly Rebecca married in 1811 to David Bronson David b. 1811 d. 1885 married Susan NEWMAN. David did not live with his father, but lived with B. REYNOLDS (according to History of Luz. Co.) til he was 21 yrs. (why?) Joze ROGERS' parents: Jonah and Deliverance CHAFFEE ROGERS Joze Rogers' siblings: Josiah, Jonah, Elihu, Hannah, Rev. Joel, and Bigsby (Bixby) I am trying to connect my Jonathan ROGERS. He may be a son of this Joze. Jonathan was b. 1802 d. 1882 m. Margaret ORR. How might I go about finding Jonathan's parents?
