    3. Hi All, This is message is for any new people on the list or for anyone who hasn't surfed through the Luzerne County GenWeb site. Tammy Lamb has a page where she's listed all the LDS film numbers for Luzerne County. I found this a great time saving resource when I wanted to see what LDS have on film for Luzerne County.     3. Hello: To learn what LDS films and/or fische are available (for ALL locations), go to the LDS webpage at www.familysearch.org and search the "Family History Library Catalog". The URL is as follows: http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/FHLC/frameset_fhlc.asp You can search the Family History Library catalog for a place, surname, author, call number or film/fische. According to a January 2001 press release, "the Family History Catalog is continually upgraded with more than 5,000 rolls of microfilm added each month from archives worldwide". That means you should check back occasionally to see what sources have been added to the Family History Catalog regarding your surnames and/or research areas.     3. A couple of years ago I recall reading about an ongoing project to microfilm the Catholic Church records in Luzerne County. Does anyone know the status of this project? If the films have been completed, are they available for interlibrary loan? Thanks. Shirley
