I have a picture of my grandfather, George SMITH, with a very nice looking horse and a truck in the background. The words on the truck are R. A. Davis Coal with, what looks like, Ice and Saddle Horses? The I for Ice and the rses of Horses is behind the horse. The parking lot is gravel and there seems to be a warehouse behind them. I had heard that the R. A. Davis Coal Company was on North Washington street. I may be wrong on that aspect. I also have from the obit of George Smith, that he worked for the R. A. Davis Coal Company. Can anyone tell me if there are still records for the R. A Davis Coal Company and where I could find them? Thanks in advance.
