DEATHS: Mrs ELIZABETH A STEWART, wife of JOHN STEWART, died at her residence in Scranton at 9:20 this morning. She was born in Wilkes-Barre township, now Plains township, February 28, 1819. She was the daughter of EZRA WILLIAMS, and granddaughter of Sergeant THOMAS WILLIAMS, noted in the struggles of early Wyoming and the Revolutionary war. She left to survive her, besides her husband, who is critically ill, five daughters, Mrs GEORGE B KULP, and Mrs W D LOOMIS of this city; Mrs C B SCOTT, Mrs S M STEVENS, and Mrs L C HESSLER of Scranton.
