June 1, 1938 One of the first June weddings in Allentown will take place at 11 am to day in St. Peter's Lutheran church, Hanover Ave., when Catherine Lerch, 431 N. 8th St., becomes the bride of Howard S. Zullick, formerly of Hazleton and now residing at 431 N. 8th St. He is a son of Simon Zullick, Hazleton. The ceremony will be solemnized by the Rev. Warren C. Heinly, pastor of St. Peter's church where both Miss Lerch and Mr. Zullick are members. Miss Lerch is also a member of the Catasauqua Jr. Woman's club. Mr. Zullick is employed in the Bethlehem office of the Lehigh Valley Railroad. Miss Lerch, to be given in marriage by her father, will be attended by her aunt, Mr. W.J. Moessner Jr., city. The bridesmaids will be Marie Vogt and Ruth Seesholtz, both of Hazleton, nieces of Mr. Zullick. The flower girl and ring bearer will be Madeline and Chester Feidler children of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Feidler, Northampton. The best man will be W.J. Moessner, and the ushers will be Clair F. Campbell and Robert O.A. Wolfe. Prof. Theodore Otto, organist of St. Peter's church, will play a 30-minute recital before the ceremony. He will also lay the Wedding March by Mendelsohn and the Bridal Chorus by Wagner. Mrs. Florence Rice, soprano, will sing "Oh Promise Me" by R. deKoven and "O Perfect Love," by Barnby. A reception for 150 guests at the home of the bride's parents will follow the wedding. The couple will tour the New England States and spend a week at Asbury Park, and upon their return they will reside at 431 N. 8th St.
