Mr. Evans was a lifelong resident of Hanover Township and was a representative of the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for several years. Surviving are his wife, the former Ruth Kemmerer of Hanover Township, and these children, Marjorie, Shirley, Fred, Jr., Robert, Joan Ann and Carol Jean and four brothers, Arthur and Willard of New Jersey; Lee, Hanover Township, and Evan, Philadelphia. The funeral will be held from the home on Friday afternoon at 3 with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Arrangements by Homer E. Graham. (obit-- April 21, 1943)
