Volosin name has been spelled many different ways, including Walason, Walosin, Walleson, etc. They were living in Ashley on Cook Street in 1910. Hedwig arrived from Austria-Hungary in 1900. Their children were John, Julia, Mary (my mother), Michael, Steven, Elizabeth, George, Anna. The mother of the elder George was Anna Ferencsik, according to the marriage certificate dated 1887 in Szerednyei, Austria-Hungary. Hedwig eventually went to Yonkers, NY with six of the children.
