In answer to questions about the Arnold Benscoter Cemetery, now known as the Benscoter Cemetery: The Arnold Benscoter Cemetery is located in Union Twp, Luzerne Co, Muhlenburg, PA . It is just off the road between Hunlock Creek and Harveyville, PA. My gggrandfather David Benscoter has a 12-14 inch square-based stone about 6 to 8 feet high. This was toppled. Another stone that was toppled was a big rectangular stone that would need some hefty pushing to knock it over. There was quite a lot of vandalism and damage. My ggrandfather and ggrandmother, Francis Marion Benscoter and Emma Emily Arnold Benscoter are buried here. I am related to almost everyone buried inside of the fenced in area. Grandma Lillian "Gertrude" Benscoter Killian and Grandpa Theodore Reuben Killian, Uncle Francis 1917-1937 and Uncle Edgar Paul 1927-1948 are buried just outside the fence across the dirt access road from her parents.
