OLIVER MILLS and HARRIET EVANS MILLS were both born in Carmarthen Town, Wales. They immigrated to the USA (Plymouth, PA) about 1868 from Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. Oliver was a citizen by 1870. Their children were: Sarah Ann MILLS, b. 1864 in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales David John MILLS, b. 1866 in MT, Wales Thomas George MILLS, b. 1868 in MT, Wales Henry Charles MILLS, b. 1871 at Plymouth, PA Mary MILLS, b. 1863 at Plymouth, PA James Oliver MILLS, b. 1876 at Plymouth, PA Harriet MILLS died in 1878 at age 34, Oliver MILLS died in 1898 at age 56. I have never been able to find any info. about Thomas. Henry died in 1920, having lived all of his life in Plymouth. James was killed in a coal mining accident in 1895 at age 19. All of the other children moved to Birmingham, Ala. to work for US Steel. Sarah married James REYNOLDS and had two sons before leaving Plymouth. David married Jean GRAHAM in B'ham, Ala. and Mary married a BEVAN who was a mining engineer and they lived in Knoxville, Tenn.
