Looking for any and all info on Donald BITTENBENDER [ nickname Dyke]. I don't have much on him. He was from Hazelton. He was born around 1900 probably and probably in Hazelton. He married [don't know where or exactly when]Kathryn Crossin of Neshquahoning in Carbon County, PA[ her family I have more on]. Donald and Kathryn were both muscians and toured with the Dorsey Brothers and other Big Bands. Donald died around 1943, but I haven't a clue where or where he might be buried. Family rumor has it that Donald's father was George Bittenbender and that George was the mayor of Hazelton at some point. Anyone who has any clues or leads on this Bittenbender family....let me know...and thanks!
