I am looking for information on the following families: James KERRIGAN, born 1864 in Parsons, married Anna HENRY, born 1866 in Ashley. They had 5 children. James was a brakeman for the railroad. I have not been able to locate the death certificates or obituaries for either James or Anna, but they are both buried in St. Mary's cemetery in Hanover and James' year of death is listed as 1925. Anna's is listed as 1934. Family history is that Anna died in Albany, New York after gall bladder surgery, but New York State has no record of her death. Is there anyone who would be willing to check the obituaries during these years? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Anna was the child of Michael HENRY and Catherine RYAN. Catherine was the daughter of Michael RYAN and Catherine HOGAN. Catherine died in 1914 in Ashley. According to the 1910 Census, she was living with her daughter, Anna, who was listed as the head of the household. James KERRIGAN was not living with the family at that time. At this point the family changed its name to CORRIGAN. According to my grandmother, NAN KERRIGAN (CORRIGAN), one of the 5 children of James and Anna, it was changed because that was the correct spelling of the family name. Does anyone have any connection to these families?
