In regards to Ed's post on the 1872 Rpt of Fatal Accidents in Luzerne can someone help me place the following mine? Ontario colliery. He reported a John SWIFT age 16, who died on 10/24, 1872. I am researching SWIFT's of Luzerne and Lackawanna and would love to talk with anyone who may also be researching them.
