John Hartman 30 b GER (on census it looks as tho it could be a 'u'), wife Barbara 30 b GER, children Barbara 8 b NY, Mary 2 PA and Casimir 9 b GER. My Casimir b 1841 Odernheim, Bavaria, GER, emigrated 1850/51. Casimir was in Scranton by 1865 when he married Sarah Ann TRANSUE in Zion Lutheran Ch. They had 4 children: Ida Mae John Wm. Geo. Lewis. Edwin Peter (my line) m Eva Mackey TURNER dau. of Franklyn Varney TURNER Casimir had a brother, Jacob b 1826 Bavaria, GER, and there was a Jacob HARTMAN as a witness to the wedding so am assuming this was his brother. Casimir emigrated at the age of 9/10 so must have come with an older sibling.
